Did you see Obama's press conference from Amman, Jordon today? Oh my god. After 7-1/2 years of enduring the torture of Bush's horrid mangling of the English language, not to mention the idiocy such mangling is always trying to convey, it was a joy--and a sign of things to come--to listen to Obama today. He sounded sure of himself, clear-thinking, and very intelligent. He handled every question with grace and polish. That is what a president is supposed to sound like. He also proved that he knows the details of foreign policy inside and out. Here's a short clip, but it's worth setting aside 40 minutes and watching the whole press conference.
