Here are some interesting things, webwise:

No One Belongs Here More Than You: An inventive and witty site promoting the book of short stories by MIranda July. I assume she did this herself. I'd be pretty disappointed if it were the idea of some marketing asshat in her publisher's office.

Glenn Greenwald Tells The Truth About What's Going on in This Country: Read this amazing blog post and tell me you don't think fascism is starting to take hold here. (Salon requires non-subscribers watch a commercial before you get access to the site).

Hillary Equals France : Also at Salon, Bill Maher thinks we should steal the best parts of French culture rather than poo-pooing them as surrenderers. Mwah oh see.

Eclipse is the new kid sister to The Criterion Collection. Their second release is a set of Louis Malle documentaries. My birthday is one month away, dear readers.

Satyagraha: Here's a review of a new production of Glass's amazing opera, Satyagraha. It just ran at London's English National Opera, and comes to New York next April for it's Metropolitan Opera premiere. My sister's coming to see it with me. Are you coming too?

Root Canal: everyone's favorite trip to the dentist. I've had a rough week and I need more Vicodin.
