Fortune Correction™: Easy Edition, posted January 27, 2007 at 01:52 PM

In the comments of my last entry Pollymagoo requested that I correct two recent fortunes she's received. She also asks if it's bad to take two fortunes. Darling, you're twice as fortunate if you do--unless of course either or both of them say something along the lines of "You're about to be struck by a double-decker bus."

Anyway, Polly, the fortunes you received are odd indeed, but I think with a bit of correction we'll find that your love life--well, at least your sex life--is looking up indeed:

Original Fortune:
"You cannot tailor-make the situations in life but you can tailor-make the attitudes to fit those situations."
Correction:
"You cannot tailor-make the situations in life but you can make the tailor if you have the right attitude."

Original Fortune:
"It will get easier once you make the initial push."
Correction:
"You get easier once once it makes the initial push."

Good luck with that, Polly, and thanks for calling in!
